Hi, I'm Xing! 

I am a UX Researcher with a multidisciplinary background in Design, Psychology, and Human-Computer Interaction. I enjoy exploring, understanding, and developing novel technologies and solutions through rigorous and innovative research.

I hold a Ph.D. in Design with a minor in Cognitive Science from North Carolina State University. During those years, I researched cognitive changes and optimized UX for data visualizations in self-tracking technologies. 

Over the past few years, I've transitioned my focus towards challenges in industry. I've been fortunate to have worked on Human-AI Interaction for AR at Facebook Reality Labs and UX research & design for the future search engine at Microsoft Research. Currently, I work at Cision, a global leader in public relations (PR), focusing on shaping consumer products tailored for PR professionals.

Outside of work, I love painting, traveling, photography, and experimenting with recipes. I practice yoga daily. I am a plant parent. I collect stones from all over the world.
